Create a pop up window
This tool will automatically generate a snippet of HTML code that
will pop up the player into a tightly fitting window so that users
can listen to your stuff un-interrupted while they browse through
your site.
There are a number of ways to generate a pop up window:
|
Option 1: Text. The user can click a text-based
link to manually open the pop up window.

Option 2: Image. The user can click on
an image to manually open the pop up window.
|
 |
| Option 3: When Page Loads. The window can
automatically pop up when the page loads. NOTE: Be warned...
clicking the
example will open a couple of new browser windows! |

Important Notes:
Many people use "pop up" blockers to prevent annoying
advertisements from popping up automatically. Since Option 3 is "automatic" (the
user does not cause the window to open) people who have pop up
blocking software may not see or hear the player. Option 1 and 2 are the safest way to ensure the window actually
opens, since the user must manually click on "something" for
the window to open.
Before you begin, you must:
- Create a new HTML page using the customizer
tool. Be sure to set the last question to "Download HTML file" --
since the pop up window will work best with a fresh new HTML page that only has
a wimpy player on it.
- Upload the new HTML page you created with the customizer tool to your web site.
- If you are using a custom skin, upload the skin_name.xml file to your server.
- If you are using a clickable image, or Option 3, upload the images to your
server.
